Charlottetown Festival 2017

This was Ashley's first golden summer on the island. She played the role of Tillie Boulter in Anne of Green Gables. The Festival has a huge history to it's name. When walking down the rehearsal and backstage halls, it is filled with memories of the photos and names of every past performer. A lot of familiar faces, teachers, role models and people who have transitioned from performer to part of the creative team have walked those halls. It's a magical place to work for and indeed she fell in love with the island in the short four months.
